Felipe Massa visits Istanbul to explore history and culture

Former Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa visited Istanbul as part of a program organized by the Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA). Known as the ‘King of Istanbul’ for winning three consecutive Grand Prix races at Istanbul Park in 2006, 2007, and 2008, Massa explored the city’s historical and cultural landmarks.

During his visit, Massa toured the Historical Peninsula, including the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque, and took a Bosphorus tour. He also participated in the ‘F1 Movie Night’ event held at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) open area. Massa expressed his affection for the city, noting that Istanbul holds special memories from his racing career and praising the unique characteristics of the Istanbul Park circuit.
