Santa Cruz Provincial Book Fair concludes in Río Gallegos

The 32nd Santa Cruz Provincial Book Fair concluded in Río Gallegos after ten days of activities. Organized by the State Secretariat of Culture under the theme ‘Letras que nos acercan’, the event attracted more than 15,000 visitors to the Santa Cruz Cultural Complex.

The fair featured over 50 provincial writers, 40 publishing and bookstore stands, musical performances, theater, and workshops. Silvia D’Andrea, Secretary of State of Culture, described the turnout as a success that met community expectations.

Key highlights included a presentation by musician and composer Diego Frenkel, who discussed his book ‘A través de las canciones’, and a highly attended session by historian Felipe Pigna. Pigna discussed his work regarding the events of 1976 and the role of media in public opinion.
