Felix Gall climbs to fourth in Vuelta a España general classification

Austrian cyclist Felix Gall moved up to fourth place in the general classification of the Vuelta a España following the seventh stage. After finishing 20th in the mountain finish at Aramon Valdelinares, Gall sits 5:01 behind leader Tadej Pogacar.

Gall gained time on immediate competitors, including Primoz Roglic, who now holds only an 11-second lead over the Austrian. Gall also overtook Olympic champion Richard Carapaz and holds a lead of over one minute on fifth-placed Sepp Kuss.

Norwegian Andreas Leknessund of Team Uno-X Mobility won the 150 km stage, marking his first Grand Tour victory. He finished 34 seconds ahead of teammate Tobias Johannessen, while Wout van Aert took third place.
