Felix Gold selected for US$18 million US federal funding

Felix Gold has been selected by the US Department of Energy (DOE) to receive up to US$18 million in federal funding for its Treasure Creek Antimony Pilot Processing Facility in Alaska. The company is one of nine US-based projects chosen as part of a US$162 million government program aimed at strengthening domestic mineral supply chains by recovering critical materials from industrial feedstocks.

The funding is non-equity, meaning it will not dilute existing shares. Felix Gold plans to use the investment to advance its antimony production, a mineral vital to defense, electronics, and other strategic industries. The company is currently extracting antimony at the Treasure Creek site and is working toward a multi-year mining permit, with full operations targeted for 2027.

Additionally, Felix Gold’s wholly owned subsidiary, Frontier Antimony Refinery, is working toward establishing a US-based smelter by the end of 2027. The project aligns with the US government’s goal of securing domestic sources for military-grade mineral concentrates.
