Felix Rosenqvist views likeness for Borg-Warner Trophy

Felix Rosenqvist, the winner of the 110th Indianapolis 500, recently visited sculptor Will Behrends to view the life-size clay likeness of his face for the iconic Borg-Warner Trophy.

Rosenqvist secured his victory driving for Meyer Shank Racing in what became the closest finish in the history of the race, defeating David Malukas by a margin of 0.0233 seconds. As the 113th face to be added to the trophy, Rosenqvist’s likeness will be scaled down and cast in silver to be permanently attached to the 110-pound award.

During his visit to Tryon, Rosenqvist reflected on the historical significance of the trophy and his personal connection to the race, noting how watching fellow Swede Kenny Brack win in 1999 served as a core racing memory. Rosenqvist is set to join Arrow McLaren next season.
