Felix Slováček announces new album and discusses family health struggles

Musician Felix Slováček has announced that he will release a new children's album titled ‘Na akci navíc’ this December. The album will feature timeless melodies from fairy tales and works by composers such as Jiří Zmožek, Karel Svoboda, and Zdeněk Barták. Slováček expressed that the project serves as a symbolic tribute to his late daughter, Anička Slováčková, who passed away at age 29 after a battle with cancer.

In addition to discussing his musical legacy, Slováček shared reflections on his family's recent hardships. Following the loss of Anička, he noted that his eldest daughter, René, is also facing serious health problems. The musician reflected on the emotional complexity of his daughter's passing, noting that he sometimes perceives her absence as a long-term professional engagement from which she has not yet returned.
