Music producer Femi Dapson has shared details regarding his decision to hire male strippers for his wife Simi’s bridal shower. During an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Dapson explained that he chose the unconventional surprise because he finds traditional gestures, such as giving flowers, to be boring.

Dapson noted that the strippers were his friends and that the event occurred on the eve of their wedding. He revealed that the incident prompted a phone call from his father-in-law, who is a pastor, to question his decision. Additionally, Dapson mentioned that his wife has since asked him to stop hiring strippers.
