Fenacor hosts 24th Brazilian Congress of Insurance Brokers in Rio
The 24th Brazilian Congress of Insurance Brokers, organized by Fenacor, took place in Rio de Janeiro from August 27 to 29. The event, themed ‘The New Era of Insurance Distribution in Brazil’, hosted over 3,000 participants and featured approximately 80 panels and 110 speakers.
During the opening, Fenacor President Armando Vergílio highlighted the Master Plan for the Insurance Intermediation Market (PDMIS) as a strategic compass for the sector. Strategist Genival de Souza e Silva also presented at the event, discussing practical applications of the PDMIS to help brokerages maintain relevance and achieve growth through technology and adaptation.
In a separate regional development, the Minas Gerais People's Insurance Club (CSP-MG) announced its 4th Symposium scheduled for September 9 in Belo Horizonte. The symposium will focus on Individual Life Insurance, featuring experts from MAG Seguros, MBM Seguradora, SulAmérica, and Zurich to discuss market expansion and professional qualification.
