Fenarreco festival announces special programming and royalty selection

The 39th Fenarreco festival in Brusque, Santa Catarina, has announced specific programming for children and seniors. On October 13, the 'Fenarreco Mirim' will feature children's music, storytelling, and traditional games, with free amusement park access for children up to 12 years old. On October 14, the event will host 'Fenarreco da Melhor Idade,' featuring Germanic dance bands and traditional activities.

This edition introduces a dedicated TEA Space to accommodate individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The festival runs from October 8 to 18 at the Maria Celina Vidotto Imhof Event Pavilion, highlighting local gastronomy such as stuffed duck and traditional German music.

Additionally, registration is now open for the selection of the 40th Fenarreco royalty. Candidates must be Brazilian nationals or naturalized citizens, residents of Brusque for at least 12 months, and aged between 20 and 30. The competition to select the Queen and two Princesses will take place on October 18, 2026.
