Fenarreco royalty contest selects 10 candidates

Ten candidates have been selected to compete for the titles of Queen, First Princess, and Second Princess for the 40th Fenarreco festival. Out of 12 total applications, two were disqualified for failing to meet the established criteria.

The final selection ceremony is scheduled for October 18, 2026, at the Fenarreco Pavilion. The candidates will now enter a preparation phase focused on communication, public speaking, and social integration to prepare them for the responsibilities of representing the festival and the city of Brusque.

The contest is coordinated by Carine Scalvim, director of the Lucky70 agency, and supported by the Municipal Tourism Foundation (Fumtur).
