Fenasan 2026 to host international water sector career forum
The 37th AESabesp/Fenasan Technical Meeting in 2026 will feature the third edition of the Universities Meeting, focusing on international career opportunities and knowledge exchange within the water sector. A key panel titled “International careers in the water sector: connection between expertise, impact and cooperation” will host specialists from France, Senegal, Angola, and Kenya to discuss professional trajectories and the necessity of global connections for sectoral development.
Fenasan is recognized as the largest environmental sanitation event in the Americas. Organized by the Association of Sabesp Engineers (AESabesp), the event expects to host 40,000 attendees. The exhibition covers various fields, including solid waste management, recycling, public cleaning, urban sanitation, and sustainable energy generation.
The initiative aims to expand the international dimension of the Universities Meeting, connecting Brazilian students, researchers, and professionals with global opportunities. Following previous participation from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Portugal, the 2026 edition increases the involvement of foreign experts to foster greater international cooperation.
