São Paulo Expo hosts major furniture, transport and electric bus fairs

The 11th edition of ForMóbile, Brazil's leading furniture and wood industry fair, ran at São Paulo Expo until 3 July. More than 550 exhibitors participated and international business rounds organized by ABIMÓVEL and ApexBrasil connected Brazilian suppliers and manufacturers with buyers from about 20 countries across Latin America, North America, Africa and Europe. The event highlighted Brazil's growing competitiveness in design, innovation and industrial capacity.

The 25th Fenatran expo, scheduled for 9‑13 November at the same venue, will feature 700 exhibitors – a 16.7% increase from the previous year – with 100 newcomers such as JAC Caminhões, BYD and Bosch. The show emphasizes fleet digitalisation, sustainability and the transition to electric propulsion, hosting panels on connected fleets, sustainable transport and women in logistics.

At Lat. Bus 2026 (11‑13 August), bus‑builder Mascarello displayed its Horizon electric bus and unveiled three refreshed vehicle models. The company stressed the project’s ESG‑driven design, lighter materials and improved energy performance, targeting operators, mobility managers and public authorities.

Together, these fairs underscore São Paulo Expo’s role as a hub for Brazil’s furniture, transport and mobility sectors, fostering international trade, technological innovation and the move toward greener mobility.
