Fenatrano donates one million pesos to repair Bayaguana church

The National Federation of Transport La Nueva Opción (Fenatrano) and its affiliated routes have donated one million pesos to the ecclesiastical authorities of Bayaguana. The funds are designated for the repair, modernization, and equipment procurement for the bell tower of the San Juan Bautista Church.

Antonio Brito, vice president of Fenatrano, delivered the funds on behalf of federation president and former deputy Juan Hubieres. The donation was received by Monsignor Daniel Lorenzo Vargas Salazar, the territorial episcopal vicar of Monte Plata province, and parish priest Juan Luis García.

The contribution aims to preserve the religious and cultural heritage of the municipality while modernizing the parish's bell-ringing system. Monsignor Vargas Salazar noted that the funds will help complete the long-awaited project, while also urging transport leaders to maintain unity and drive prudently on the new highway connecting Bayaguana, Guerra, San Isidro, and Santo Domingo.
