Fenbury announces new vision for Eden Point development

Development company Fenbury has announced plans to move forward with the Eden Point project at Cattle Bay. After several years of stagnation, the company intends to submit a revised masterplan to the state government by the end of the year, replacing previous approvals with a staged development approach.

The proposed project aims to boost regional tourism and employment through the construction of a marina, conference centre, hotel, and serviced apartments. Managing director Sammy Soliman stated that the company is committed to a long-term presence in the Far South Coast rather than a short-term strategy. Initial artist impressions of the development will be presented to the community during the Eden Whale Festival in mid-October.
