Fender expands California acoustic guitar series

Fender has expanded its California acoustic guitar line, which blends 1970s aesthetics with modern features inspired by the company’s electric guitar heritage. The series includes the entry-level California Standard/Debut line, the mid-level California Deluxe series, and the premium California Vintage lineup.

The California Deluxe Redondo is a full-sized Dreadnought featuring a Sitka top with Mahogany laminate back and sides, scalloped “X” bracing, and a 12” fretboard radius. It utilizes a C-shaped neck and a classic 6-in-line electric headstock.

Additionally, the Fender California Standard Redondo Mini offers a portable, half-size steel-string option. It features a 22.75-inch scale length, a Spruce top with scalloped X-bracing, and a walnut fingerboard. Designed for travelers, beginners, and casual players, the mini model is available in a Surf Green finish and maintains full guitar tuning and string tension.
