Fendt Dieselross gathering in Marktoberdorf attracts over 12,000 visitors
The Fendt Classic Club International (FCCI) hosted the 2026 Fendt Dieselross meeting in Marktoberdorf, Germany. About 12,000 visitors attended to view nearly 500 historic Fendt tractors built between 1949 and 1959, making it one of the largest classic‑tractor exhibitions in the country.
Participants came from Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, with at least one enthusiast travelling from Canada. The programme featured a special exhibition of 65 chronologically arranged models, a round‑tour of the restored tractors through the town, and awards for notable entries. Christoph Gröblinghoff, Vice President and Chairman of Fendt’s management, welcomed the crowd and highlighted the significance of the historic machines for the brand’s heritage.
Organisers said the event exceeded expectations and expressed interest in holding a further gathering, aiming for a major celebration in 2030 when the Fendt Dieselross turns 100 years old.
