Fendt unveils second-generation 1100 Vario MT tracked tractors
AGCO has unveiled the second generation of the Fendt 1100 Vario Multi-Track (MT) series at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa. The new line of tracked tractors offers power ranging from 521 to 680 hp, utilizing MAN 6-cylinder engines with displacements of 15.2L or 16.2L. The top-tier 1167 Vario MT model is noted as the most powerful tracked tractor on the market equipped with a continuous variable transmission.
The new generation features a redesigned FendtONE cockpit designed for improved ergonomics and visibility. Key technical enhancements include the reinforced VarioDrive drivetrain, an automatic dust extraction system for the cabin, and advanced LED lighting options, such as the UltraVision concept which can provide up to 55,800 lumens.
Additionally, Fendt is introducing functional updates for existing Vario models. Some improvements, such as the trailer brake assistant, are available via software updates for models ranging from the 300 Vario Gen5 to the 800 Vario Gen5. Other features, like the TMS Flex system which allows simultaneous use of the pedal and driving lever, require hardware retrofits including a new multifunction joystick for models from the 200 Vario Gen3 to the 1000 Vario Gen2.
