Fenerbahçe adjusts Kerem Aktürkoğlu salary following UEFA investigation
Following a UEFA investigation, Fenerbahçe has reportedly adjusted the contract and salary structure for player Kerem Aktürkoğlu. According to journalist İbrahim Seten, the player's registered annual salary was previously listed at 222,000 TL, a figure allegedly reported to UEFA by Galatasaray.
Following an investigation conducted by UEFA in Istanbul, the player's annual salary is claimed to have been updated to 4.75 million euros. When including taxes, the total cost is estimated to reach approximately 8 million euros, which will impact Fenerbahçe's spending limits.
Previously, it was claimed that Aktürkoğlu's compensation was managed through an image rights agreement with Hakan Safi's company rather than directly through the club. Following the UEFA scrutiny and a 7.5 million euro fine imposed on Fenerbahçe regarding the transfer, the club will now pay the 4.75 million euro salary directly.
