Fenerbahçe and Como reach agreement for Diego Carlos transfer

Fenerbahçe and the Italian Serie A club Como have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of Brazilian defender Diego Carlos. The 33-year-old, who spent last season at Como on loan, is expected to move to the Italian side on a full transfer to help Fenerbahçe manage its foreign player quota regulations.

The official announcement of the transfer is contingent upon Como's squad restructuring. Specifically, the move will be finalized once Como's current defender, Alberto Dossena, completes his transfer to Parma. Once Dossena's departure is official, Como is expected to proceed with the final stages of the Diego Carlos deal.
