Fenerbahçe forward Vedat Muriqi cleared for upcoming Champions League ties

Kosovan striker Vedat Muriqi, who joined Fenerbahçe from Spain's Mallorca, has recovered from a partial tear in his right calf suffered during pre‑season training. Medical reports say the injury has largely healed, allowing him to be available for the club's Champions League second‑qualifying round matches against Sturm Graz on 5 August in Kadıköy and 11 August away.

The 32‑year‑old, Mallorca’s all‑time leading scorer with 58 goals in 155 appearances, took part in a fan‑signing event at the Fenerium store in Kadıköy. Hundreds of supporters, many with children, queued to get autographs and photos, underscoring his popularity among the club’s fanbase.
