Fenerbahçe intensifies pursuit of striker Serhou Guirassy

Fenerbahçe is in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund to acquire 30‑year‑old forward Serhou Guirassy, whose contract with the German club runs until June 2028. Reports indicate the Turkish side is prepared to meet Dortmund’s demanded transfer fee, cited between €20‑25 million and €35 million, and has offered the player a €10 million per‑year salary.

Guirassy, a Guinea international, has scored 60 goals in 96 appearances for Dortmund after joining from VfB Stuttgart for €18 million in 2022. Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım has personally championed the move, and negotiations with the player and his agents are described as positive, with the transfer targeted for completion before the Turkish league season begins.
