Vedat Muriqi opened the scoring in the 7th minute by capitalizing on a rebound after the goalkeeper parried a header from Archie Brown. Colley equalized for Konyaspor in the 11th minute following a pass from Muleka.

Fenerbahçe regained the lead in the 20th minute when Mason Greenwood scored after his initial penalty attempt was saved by goalkeeper Deniz. Marco Asensio extended the lead to 3-1 in the 33rd minute with a shot from the left side of the penalty area.
