Fenerbahçe signs NBA veteran Dwight Powell

Fenerbahçe Tarfin has announced the signing of Canadian forward-center Dwight Powell for the remainder of the season. The 35-year-old veteran joins the Turkish EuroLeague club following a 12-season tenure with the Dallas Mavericks.

Powell, a former NBA Finals participant in the 2023-24 season, is expected to strengthen Fenerbahçe’s front line. His move to Europe follows his release by the Mavericks, who opted to prioritize younger talent such as Moussa Cisse. Powell brings significant experience to the roster, having appeared in over 760 NBA games throughout his career.
