Aziz Yıldırım vows striker signing and championship push at Fenerbahçe meeting

At a High Divan Board meeting held at the Faruk Ilgaz facilities, Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım announced that the club will complete the signing of a striker within the week, describing the transfer as a “point‑blank” move and pledging to use all resources to win the championship.

Yıldırım also gave a detailed financial briefing: the current administration has spent €65 million, he claimed previous management incurred €142 million in future‑related spending, and the club’s total debt for the 2025‑26 period stands at about 27.96 billion Turkish lira. He criticised former officials, promised transparency and warned that he will take legal action against social‑media accounts he deems harmful.

He said the club may use the 10+4 rule exception if needed, announced plans for a football workshop with all stakeholders later in the year, and reiterated his commitment to “make Fenerbahçe champion”.
