Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım loses fourth court battle over stadium box

A Turkish court has rejected a fourth attempt by Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım to reassign a stadium box belonging to businessman Acun Ilıcalı. The dispute centers on box number 217 at the Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex.

The conflict began after Yıldırım’s administration unilaterally terminated the contract for the central box, designating it as the ‘Presidential Box.’ Ilıcalı, a former vice president under Ali Koç, argued the termination lacked legal basis, noting he had prepaid three years of fees.

Following the court's decision, an investigation has been launched into club officials regarding the alleged destruction of the box. It was reported that after Ilıcalı regained possession of the box via a previous court order in August, the facility was found damaged and unusable during the season's first home match.
