Fenerbahçe targets domestic defenders for squad reinforcement

Fenerbahçe is actively pursuing several domestic defensive reinforcements ahead of the new season. Under the approval of technical director İsmail Kartal, the club has identified multiple center-back options to strengthen its backline.

Key targets include Konyaspor captain Adil Demirbağ, a 28-year-old defender with a market value of approximately 3 million euros. The club is also interested in Yusuf Akçiçek, a 20-year-old defender currently playing for Al Hilal, who previously had a high-value transfer from Fenerbahçe.

Additionally, Fenerbahçe is in negotiations with Alanyaspor for young defender Ümit Akdağ. While Alanyaspor initially requested 10 million euros, reports suggest they may lower their expectations to the 6-7 million euro range as negotiations continue.
