Fenix Flexin Confirms AI Use on Hit Song “Rubberz”

Shoreline Mafia rapper Fenix Flexin has officially acknowledged that artificial‑intelligence software was used to create his single “Rubberz.” After months of denying that AI generated the track, he posted on Instagram that he never said he didn’t use AI, only that it “had nun to do with the recording process.” The producer Medasin previously released a video breaking down the song and identified Treblo (formerly Sonauto AI) as the tool that generated the vocals and synth‑pop elements.

The track, which peaked at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100, sparked debate over AI’s role in music production. Flexin defended the technology, saying, “Ain’t nothing wrong with using new technology as a tool, keep up with the times or get left behind.” Other artists, such as Tyga, have also admitted using AI on recent releases, underscoring a growing trend in the industry.
