FENNEL and YOSHIMEI Group to host VALORANT tournament in Kansai

FENNEL, the operator of the professional e-sports team FENNEL, has announced the VALORANT UNIVERS CUP Kansai Tournament, scheduled for October 24 and 25, 2026. The event is sponsored by YOSHIMEI Group, a global conglomerate based in Nara, Japan.

The tournament is designed for students aged 18 and older residing in the Kansai region. It aims to provide a competitive platform for university and vocational school students while bridging the gap between gaming and professional careers. Through the career support platform UNIVERS, the initiative seeks to recognize the skills developed through gaming—such as concentration, teamwork, and persistence—as valuable assets in the workforce.

YOSHIMEI Group, which includes Yoshimei Co., Ltd., has actively engaged in e-sports since establishing an internal club in 2022. The group focuses on recruiting talent that demonstrates high levels of dedication and ability through gaming.
