The Forum Jurnalis Sulsel Bersatu has officially reported skincare entrepreneur Fenny Frans to the South Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda Sulsel) on Monday, October 19, 2026. The legal action follows a TikTok live broadcast on October 13, 2026, in which Frans made statements deemed insulting to the journalism and legal professions.

Representatives of the forum, including senior journalist Muhammad Ilyas Nurdin and legal counsel Sandy, SH, filed the report with the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus). The complaint alleges defamation and professional harassment. The legal team emphasized that while the individual may have been angry, such emotions do not justify using social media to insult professional dignity.
