Feró Nagy reveals 74,000 forint monthly pension
Hungarian musician Feró Nagy, known for his work with the band Beatrice, has revealed that his monthly state pension is 74,000 forints. Despite celebrating his 80th birthday, Nagy continues to perform regularly, citing both a passion for music and financial necessity. He noted that his performance fees help support his five grandchildren.
To supplement his income, Nagy relies on royalties from his compositions, his radio program, and funds remaining from his Kossuth Prize. He also explicitly denied rumors published by opposition media claiming he received significant state subsidies or high performance fees during political gatherings, stating, “I did not receive any money.”
