FERATUM Film Festival celebrates 15 years with witch theme

The FERATUM International Fantastic Film Festival will celebrate its 15th anniversary from November 12 to 15 in Pátzcuaro, Michoacán. This year’s edition features witches as a central theme, exploring their connection to nature, spirituality, and Mexican legends, while also highlighting the role of women in both storytelling and filmmaking.

The festival’s official image was designed by Michoacán artist Dosak Moreno, incorporating Purépecha cultural elements. Among the announced films is the fantasy thriller ‘Bajo tus pies’, directed by Cristian Bernard and starring Maribel Verdú and Sofía Otero, which will have its Mexican premiere at the event.
