Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Joshua Santiago aide-de-camp Philippine military tribute

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has issued a tribute to Major Ma. Joshua P. Santiago, his former aide-de-camp, following the officer's passing. The President described Santiago as a “soldier of courage” who served the nation with honor and dedication.

Marcos expressed his gratitude for the officer's service and extended prayers to Santiago’s family and fellow soldiers. The tribute was released on August 28, shortly before the Philippines observes National Heroes Day on August 31.
