Górnik Zabrze coach Michal Gasparik expressed frustration despite his team's performance, stating that they were the better side in the second leg and that “the better team did not advance,” attributing the result to small details.

Ferencváros will now face Trabzonspor in the playoff round. A victory would secure a place in the Europa League group stage, while a loss would see the Hungarian club move into the Conference League. Ferencváros president Gábor Kubatov celebrated the undefeated progression via social media, noting the difficulty of the match.
