Ferencváros football club confirms youth academy funding for 2025‑26 season
Ferencváros (Fradi) announced that central subsidies for the 2025/26 season have been officially disclosed. The club received 65 % of the allocated youth‑development funds in January, with the remaining 35 % expected after the club fulfills its financial commitments. The academy director, Norbert Palásthy, said the funds will support the club’s youth‑player payroll and allow continued integration of young talent into the senior squad.
The club also noted that the 2026/27 season funding has been provisionally secured, pending final contract signatures. The Hungarian Football Federation’s rules require clubs to field a minimum number of home‑grown players, reinforcing the importance of the subsidy for maintaining the academy’s operations.
