Ferencváros defeats Viktoria Plzeň 2-1 in Europa League

Ferencváros secured a 2-1 victory against Viktoria Plzeň in the second round of the UEFA Europa League league phase at the Groupama Arena. Kristoffer Zachariassen was the standout performer for the Hungarian side, scoring both the opening goal in the 49th minute and a penalty in the 81st minute.

The match featured a notable tactical decision by Ferencváros manager Balázs Borbély, who started 20-year-old goalkeeper Dániel Radnóti in place of the experienced Dénes Dibusz. Radnóti performed well, making key saves to maintain the clean sheet during the first half.

Despite the win, Borbély expressed frustration regarding the team's lack of clinical finishing and defensive lapses that allowed Denis Višinský to score a consolation goal for the Czech side in the 90th minute. Ferencváros remains undefeated in their international campaign, holding a 100 percent record in the league phase.
