Ferencváros secures dominant victories in Europa League and domestic league

Ferencváros has enjoyed a successful run of form, securing a confident victory in the Europa League against Portuguese Cup winners Torreense, followed by a 5–0 win against MTK Budapest in the NB I derby at the Groupama Aréna.

The victory against MTK marks the team's first league win at home this season and their first time scoring at least three goals at home in the NB I since May. Midfielder Marius Corbu, who scored the fifth goal, noted that while the team is pleased, they must find the mental strength to maintain such high intensity in every domestic match to avoid previous struggles following European fixtures.

Regarding the Europa League performance, coach Goncalo Feio praised the team's maturity and defensive discipline. He highlighted the impact of substitutions, noting that players like Marius Corbu, Lenny Joseph, and Habib Maiga strengthened the midfield and physical presence, allowing the team to maintain control and capitalize on opportunities.
