Ferencváros signs Slovak midfielder Matúš Bero

Ferencváros has announced the signing of Slovakian national team midfielder Matúš Bero. The club did not disclose the specific duration of his contract.

Bero joins the Budapest-based club following a stint with VfL Bochum in Germany. His professional career includes significant experience in the Dutch Eredivisie with Vitesse, where he made 173 appearances and scored 25 goals, and a period in Turkey with Trabzonspor. He began his career at AS Trenčín, where he won multiple league titles and cups.

A veteran of the Slovakian national team, Bero has earned 50 caps and participated in the 2024 European Championship, playing in matches against Romania and England.
