Ferencváros wins Hungarian ice hockey Super Cup

Ferencváros (FTC-Telekom) secured the Hungarian ice hockey Super Cup with a 3-2 victory over Budapest Jégkorong Akadémia HC (BJA HC) at the Tüskecsarnok.

Despite a competitive match, the defending champions managed to retain their title. BJA HC took an early lead in the eighth minute through Bálint Molnár, followed by a second goal from Dániel Zimányi in the 31st minute. Ferencváros responded with goals from Aku Kestilä in the 11th minute and Rasmus Heljanko in the 38th minute to keep the score level.

Zsombor Galajda scored the decisive goal in the 57th minute, just three minutes before the end of the game, to seal the win for Ferencváros. This victory marks another Super Cup title for the club, following their previous wins in 2021 and 2023.
