Ferentino schools return to permanent sites after PNRR renovations
In Ferentino, the 2026-2027 school year marks the conclusion of several disruptions caused by construction projects funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). After months of temporary relocations and high rental costs, students are returning to renovated facilities.
The Belvedere school, which had been temporarily moved to a building in Sant’Agata, has reopened following renovations that addressed seismic and energy efficiency standards. The municipality had previously paid an annual rent of 28,000 euros to the Province to secure temporary space during the works. Other school complexes, including Cartiera and Circonvallazione, have also undergone transitions as part of the broader modernization and energy efficiency efforts.
