Ferhat Göçer discusses music industry, AI, and Kayahan

Turkish singer Ferhat Göçer shared various insights during an appearance on the Number1 Star program. Addressing the music industry, Göçer advised colleague Sinan Akçıl to move away from tabloid-focused behavior and focus on producing quality music.

Reflecting on his career, Göçer noted that he feels he is increasingly resembling the late artist Kayahan in his perspectives and reactions to industry developments. He expressed deep respect for Kayahan’s enduring musical legacy.

Regarding technology, Göçer discussed the role of artificial intelligence in music. Following discussions with ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus, he stated that he no longer views AI as a threat, but rather as a helpful tool or instrument for creators. He highlighted the commercial success of his project ‘Ta ki Seni Görene Kadar’, which utilized AI.

On a personal note, Göçer spoke about his 20-year relationship with Ömür Gedik and his support for Fenerbahçe.
