Feria Internacional de Muestras de Asturias (FIDMA) highlights tourism and off‑road industry in Gijón

The 69th Feria Internacional de Muestras de Asturias (FIDMA) runs from 1 to 16 August at the Luis Adaro exhibition centre in Gijón, drawing thousands of visitors to the region. The opening day features a dedicated "Day of Mieres" with a gala presented by historian Ernesto Burgos and Orlando Moratinos of the Fundación Foro Jovellanos, free municipal buses for Mieres residents, and a stand promoting the town’s tourism, gastronomy, nature and innovation.

Garaje Domínguez, a Lena‑based off‑road vehicle dealer owned by Fredo Domínguez, returns for its 32nd appearance, showcasing models from Yamaha, Polaris, Segway and Linhai, along with agricultural and work‑site accessories. The company uses the fair to provide hands‑on advice to visitors and to reinforce its long‑standing presence in the Asturian motor‑off‑road sector.
