Feriha Avcı, mother of Abdullah Avcı, laid to rest in Istanbul

Feriha Avcı, the mother of football manager Abdullah Avcı, has passed away at the age of 88. Her funeral service was held at the Marmara University Faculty of Theology Mosque in Istanbul following the noon prayer.

Numerous figures from the Turkish football community attended the ceremony to offer condolences to Avcı and his family. Attendees included club presidents Göksel Gümüşdağ of Başakşehir and Ertuğrul Doğan of Trabzonspor, as well as former TFF President Servet Yardımcı.

Prominent managers such as Şenol Güneş, Okan Buruk, Aykut Kocaman, and Emre Belözoğlu were also present. Former players who have worked with Avcı, including Edin Visca, Uğurcan Çakır, İsmail Köybaşı, and Necip Uysal, attended to pay their respects. Feriha Avcı was laid to rest at the Ihlamurkuyu Cemetery.
