Fermana advances to Coppa Italia Eccellenza semifinals

Fermana has secured a place in the semifinals of the Coppa Italia Eccellenza after defeating Trodica in a penalty shootout. Following a 2-1 victory in the first leg, Trodica managed to level the aggregate score during the second leg with a goal from Iori, forcing the match to be decided by penalties.

Both teams utilized tactical rotations due to injury concerns and energy management. Fermana, led by coach Marco Sansovini, fielded a lineup including Schena, Hussein, and Barculli, while Trodica, under Roberto Buratti, saw the debut of new arrival Jallow. Despite several scoring opportunities for Trodica in the first half, Fermana's defense remained resilient, ultimately allowing the 'canarini' to advance in the competition.
