Fermin Alejandro Calles Garcia arrested in Travis County

Fermin Alejandro Calles Garcia, a 24-year-old Venezuelan national, was arrested in Northwest Travis County on September 5 following a tip. The arrest occurred during a traffic stop conducted by the Cedar Park Police Department.

Calles Garcia had been a fugitive since March 2025, wanted by Travis County for sexual assault of a child and stalking, as well as a misdemeanor warrant for assault causing bodily injury. He was listed as one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants. The Texas Department of Public Safety's Criminal Investigations Division assisted in the operation. A Crime Stoppers reward is expected for the information leading to his capture.
