Fermin Lopez targeted by PSG and Chelsea in potential €80m transfer

Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are reportedly preparing significant interest in Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez. Reports suggest PSG is considering a firm offer of approximately €80 million (£68 million) for the 23-year-old Spanish international during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Lopez has become a key figure in Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad, contributing several goals and assists in La Liga this season. While Barcelona is not actively looking to sell the player, who is under contract until 2031, the club’s ongoing financial situation may force them to consider high-value offers.

In addition to PSG and Chelsea, clubs including Arsenal and Bayern Munich have been linked to the midfielder. Despite the interest from major European sides, Lopez has previously expressed a strong desire to remain at his boyhood club.
