Fermo Councilor challenges Ete Vivo cycle path route

In Fermo, Councilor Saturnino Di Ruscio has raised concerns regarding the planned Ete Vivo cycle path, specifically the section between Calderaro and Fonte Fallera. The debate focuses on a proposed route that would cross private residential property, potentially impacting a swimming pool.

A private landowner has proposed an alternative route through an adjacent pine forest, offering to share costs to reduce the project's budget by approximately 200,000 euros. Di Ruscio argues that the administration should seek solutions that minimize private sacrifice while maintaining public interest.

Additionally, the current project faces scrutiny due to hydrogeological risks and archaeological concerns. A report from the Superintendency indicates a "high risk" of encountering archaeological remains from the Villanovan, Republican, and Imperial Roman periods along the municipality's designated path.
