Fernanda Serrano and Lilia Cabral share career challenges

Actress Fernanda Serrano recently recalled a difficult experience from the beginning of her career involving a disrespectful director during rehearsals for a play. While Serrano did not initially name the individual, reports identified Paulo Matos as the director in question, noting they worked together on the 2002 production ‘Partitura Inacabada’. Matos expressed surprise at the allegations, stating he does not recognize the account, but offered a sincere apology to Serrano for any bad impression caused.

In a separate account, Brazilian actress Lilia Cabral shared reflections on her early career struggles. Cabral revealed that during her studies at the School of Dramatic Art, a teacher told her she had no future as an actress due to her nasal voice. Despite this criticism, Cabral continued her studies and eventually became a prominent figure in Brazilian television.
