Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso has added a unique Bugatti 16.4 Veyron Grand Sport to his private car collection. The hypercar features a distinctive polished aluminum chrome finish, a customization reported to have cost more than the vehicle itself.

The Bugatti is powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 407 km/h. This acquisition joins other high-performance vehicles in Alonso's collection, such as a Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR and a Pagani Zonda Verde Diamante.

The news follows the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid, where Alonso finished 17th driving for Aston Martin. The team is currently facing a challenging 2026 season, sitting tenth in the constructors' standings.
