Fernando Alonso mulls F1 future while cruising Monaco in rare 1990s Lancia

Fernando Alonso said he is actively reflecting on his Formula 1 future as his Aston Martin contract runs to the end of the 2026 season. The two‑time world champion noted the car’s lack of competitiveness this year and his recent enjoyment of IndyCar, adding that becoming a father has shifted his priorities and he does not intend to race for four or five more seasons.

During the same period the Spanish driver was photographed in Monaco behind the wheel of a Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione Martini 6, a limited‑edition 1992 rally homologation model with only 310 units built. The car, identified by its Martini‑liveried blue‑red stripes and bearing the number 14 plate, can fetch between €300,000 and €350,000 at auction. Its appearance adds to Alonso’s recent display of classic and exotic cars, ranging from a Ferrari F40 to a Pagani Zonda.
