Fernando Alonso mulls Le Mans return with Verstappen as Carlos Sainz unveils fan grandstand for Spanish GP

Fernando Alonso said he could consider a return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans if fellow driver Max Verstappen were to join him, describing the idea as “especially if it’s with Verstappen.” The former F1 champion hinted at the possibility while speaking to fans at the Catalonia Grand Prix.

Separately, Spanish driver Carlos Sainz announced a new “Grada Carlos Sainz” for the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix at the new Madring circuit in Madrid. The fan‑only grandstand, located on the chicane of turns 8‑9, will offer prime viewing and exclusive merchandise for supporters, with ticket sales slated to begin on 25 June.
